Gary Jules’s Mad World plays over a look at the world in Gears of War. The simplicity is beautiful, the lack of sound effects or other humans or even colour provides a very desolate feeling.
The game and advert were released in 2006, almost ten years ago. I hope this ad is recreated shot for shot in the updated game – it would be great marketing.
And here we have the new trailer, not a full day after my initial post. I prefer the old trailer, but this one is still fantastic and a great move by Microsoft.
