  1. A better quote from Ecclesiastes and one which I might suggest could apply to your writing"The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among foaqC&luot;shopter 9 V 17

  2. Excellent picks. I still haven’t seen the Star Trek film, but loved DP. Totally agree that B vs. S was the biggest disappointment, though I disagree with Suicide Squad (I had lower expectations, but liked it better). Rogue One was my favorite film (doesn’t look like it will be supplanted by Assassin’s Creed). I’m anticipating Guardians OTG 2, The Dark Tower, and Valerian and the City of 1000 Planets.

    1. 1) I wanted to blog because I watched John Wick and it was awesome- then I watched it again (still awesome) but nobody had seen it. Very late that night I decided to do something about it, creating the entire site and first review

      2) Writers Block sometimes comes around due to forcing yourself to write things you don’t have as much motivation for anymore. I have about 30ish films to review but my motivation had decreased. To combat this i had a rethink about what I wanted to write- unique content, such as my Prime Six Awards as of late

      3) I go to my usual comforts, games and films. Time heals all

      4) Watchmen is as close to a tarantino superhero comic as possible

      5) A long time ago in a galaxy far far away

Thanks very much for the nom, always fun to do these!

  3. I haven’t seen all the high profile ‘Oscar’ flicks yet (like La La Land, Silence, Hacksaw Ridge, Nocturnal Animals, etc), but I like seeing Hell or High Water, Sing Street, and Nice Guys on your list. Those were all great sleepers! Thanks for handing out these awards. I really enjoyed this article! My fav flick this year, so far, is probably Arrival, although Rogue One is definitely worth its top spot here 🙂

      1. I love those Villeneuve films too. Plus, Enemy. That was a head-scratcher 😉 I can’t wait for Blade Runner either! I don’t know if those other films are Oscar bait. They seem like genuine films by honest directors. I don’t get the sense they were chasing awards. Arrival was an unexpected top notcher though. I’m looking forward to your review. Will you do an update later if any 2016 films change your mind?

      2. Enemy was intriguing, rather creepy. That ending is one of the most scary, unexpected moments in all of my cinematic history!! It really (literally) shook me up.
I may come back to it yeah, civil war deserves an award too, best comic book film?
