A Review of REC (2007)
“We have to tape everything, Pablo.”
This Spanish horror is the best found footage film I’ve ever seen.
Rec is not disorienting or dizzying, but it does feel claustrophobic especially when the zoom function is engaged.

A dead friend cyber bullies a group of teens.
Unfriended is unique as it uses the desktop of a laptop to tell its story.
A Review of The Untouchables (1987)
” Never stop fighting till the fight is done”
A squad of loyal cops set out to take down Al Capone.
This is a movie so ahead of it’s time, it could have come out yesterday. The Untouchables is fantastic!

“We can’t rush these people. Time is a Western thing.”
A Danish ship is hijacked by Somali pirates.
A Hijacking is half in English and half in Danish.

What Suicide Squad gets right, it gets really right. But it gets plenty wrong too.

“Anyone who throws boomerangs has some real issues letting go.”
The ‘first’ Suicide Squad movie, featuring Deadshot, Harley, Killer Frost and a few others. Assault on Arkham is not a Batman film as the title may have you believe.

Preface: I think the Bourne Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum are some of the best action films ever made. All three would be very high in my overall favourite films.
